Content Management Solutions
UltraDoc
is our distributed architecture that provides an object oriented relational
database platform based on Microsoft's SQL Server. This platform provides
interoperability to other Alto
UltraWare
applications as well as any
ODBC compliant application for managing
complete "ready-to-use" electronic content. The indexing and retrieval
capabilities cover a range of object creation and re-use needs. We offer support
for many forms of storage systems such as RAID, MO, CD ROM, Magnetic.
Multi-level security and internet/intranet access are provided. To learn more

UltraDoc
Suite, click one of the buttons to the left.

UltraDoc™
UltraDoc
has two
primary functions. First, it serves as a database setup and configuration
utility designed to provide optimum functionality without the messy details of
creating and working with SQL scripts.
UltraDoc
allows you to define and manage the network storage devices, as well as the
search, view and retrieval configurations.
UltraDoc
includes a number of other built in features for creating and initializing
standard SQL database tables and works in conjunction with Microsoft's SQL
Enterprise Manager to assign users and permissions to the
UltraDoc
database platform.
The second
function provides the users primary search and extraction interface to
UltraDoc's
digital library of database objects. It can be run as a standalone utility to
access the library and build new or modify existing objects or collections of
objects.
Although
UltraDoc
is a standalone client interface to the database, all the other
UltraWare
applications can access the database as clients. Furthermore, with our
UltraDoc
Application Profiling plug in, Microsoft Office 2000 applications, including
Outlook, have full
UltraDoc
access to the database.
The example below is the user
interface for configuring virtual bundles (group of database objects).
