Alto Imaging's UltraWare™ suite of products includes software applications which together represent a new level of integrated functionality in document composition and make-ready in production environments. These are digital asset management solutions that can installed separately or bundled as collaborative solutions and scaled to different configurations of integrated hardware and software necessary for capturing, manipulating, storing, retrieving, and publishing digital content based on customer requirements and expectations.

Alto's Image Capture products provide a complete set of capabilities for capturing information from a variety of sources, editing and organizing into electronic documents and interfacing to our digital content managed solutions created in UltraDoc.

Printing

Printing is an often overlooked area in imaging and document management systems. Our many years of experience in printing systems means we always view the complete solution to your document management and imaging needs in light of the almost certain need to print and view the results of the imaging effort. Doing this right means understanding not only the devices but everything that must happen to deliver predictable and effective results. 

We support most industry standard printers and offer enhanced printing support for serious production devices from Ricoh, Kodak, Canon, Konica Minolta, Ocē and Xerox. We also provide solutions for XML job ticketing for complete document and page level descriptions. This allows us the flexibility to convert and retain other standard ticketing information such as JDF.

Content Management Solutions

UltraDoc is our distributed architecture that provides an object oriented relational database platform based on Microsoft's SQL Server.  This platform provides interoperability to other Alto UltraWare applications as well as any other Windows ODBC compliant application for managing complete "ready-to-use" electronic content. These database designs are simultaneously assessable through client web browsers using UltraWeb. The true power behind the UltraDoc architecture is the ability to quickly design, build and implement any system workflow.
